Simulated action potentials and extracellular potentials in a bundle of muscle fibers

In this investigation, computer simulations are used to study the propagating action potential in skeletal muscle. The model considers the influence of the transverse tubular system and the electrical interaction between an active fiber and a single layer of surrounding passive fibers in a fiber bundle.<
