Real-Time Display of VCO FM Linearity

The alignment and turning of microwave voltage controlled oscillators (VCO's) can be a time consuming operation. The ability to display both frequency modulation (FM) sensitivity and linearity during turning, is a necessity and was a major problem. Three measurement techniques have been used at Hughes for VCO testing.
