Advertisement, IEEE. In the expanded and revised IEEE Standard Dictionary, you find over 300 sources of input, including terms from all IEEE Standards since 1972; many from ANSI Standards. The 20,254 entries make up the bulk of the text Over 7,000 terms are new, or have been revised since the 1972 edition. Each entry is an official standard of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. This is the most authoritative single-volume dictionary of electrical and electronics terms available anywhere.
