A frequency doubled amplified-fiber laser for molecular iodine spectroscopy near 515 nm

We have developed a source of 515 nm light by frequency doubling the amplified ouput of an ytterbium-doped fiber laser with a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) crystal.
