An algorithm for solving the equations of monotone nonlinear resistive networks

An algorithm related to the PQ theorem is given for solving the equations of a large class of monotone nonlinear resistive networks. The algorithm converges to a solution whenever a solution exists, and it produces an unbounded sequence of iterates if there is no solution.<
