A Case Study for Physically Inspired Approach to Motion Coordination

The problem of orchestrating the movements of mobile autonomous agents is one of hard problems in pervasive computing technology. This paper overviews an approach that takes inspiration from the laws of physics. This approach has the movements of agents driven by locally perceived computational fields, generated by the agents themselves and propagated via some embedded infrastructure. This paper mainly focuses on a case study for this approach and its applications. In addition, a series of technologies utilized while implementing the approach will be discussed in this paper. We pay our attention to some of the most significant technologies, such as mobile agent, locating system and application functionalities.
