Development of wide-area traffic information system

In order to offer integrated traffic information to car drivers in wide area, the wide-area traffic information system has been developed for the public and the Metropolitan Police Department. The system features: (1) integrated traffic information display on the metropolitan expressway, highways, and arterial roads; (2) high-speed drawing by means of a digital map; and (3) an easy-to-operate screen display through the application of graphical user interface.<
