Standards and high-speed instrumentation

The authors review four applications of superconductivity of current interest in metrology. These applications are Josephson series-array voltage standards, cryogenic current comparators, a superconducting sampling oscilloscope, and a novel bolometer based on a kinetic inductance thermometer.<
