A separation theory of Luenberger observer-based H/sub /spl infin// controllers

This paper presents a reduced-order H/sub /spl infin// compensator design method and explains the separation theory of the state feedback design and the Luenberger observer design from the viewpoint of differential game theory. It is shown that such a separation property results in a modified Riccati design equation.<
