Development of microstrip antennas at Alenia Spazio

In the frame of ESA studies, a programme concerning with the development of microstrip antennas for space applications was started at Alenia Spazio. Several types of technological solutions and radiators have been developed. An overview of the manufactured radiators together with the achieved measured results at S-band and VHF-band is shown.<
