Two ways to catch a wave (oscilloscopes)

Digital and analog oscilloscopes are compared. It is shown that digital oscilloscopes can compete with the best analog types when they are used with analog-to-digital converters that run at 4 Gsamples/s. The advantages of the digital instruments are examined.<
