Special considerations in power system restoration

Power system restoration issues are considered. The authors discuss a number of particular problems that require special attention in the development of system restoration plans. The areas analyzed include excessive alarms during restoration, switching during restoration, underground transmission system concerns, and telecommunication capabilities and limitations.<>
