The Embankment Place development

Embankment Place is a new office building that has been constructed over the existing Charing Cross railway station in London. The London Electricity Board provided a 7 MVA electricity supply at high voltage using an existing 22 kV distribution network. Six substations were necessary with a 6.6 kV switchboard and associated metering.<
