GFHM-PID Controller Analysis and Design (I)

The characteristics and the control capability of the PID controller based on generalized fuzzy hyperbolic model (GFHM-PID) deeply. Firstly, the structure of GFHM-PID controller was analyzed. The relationship between GFHM and traditional linear PID controller are discussed. Secondly, the nonlinearity variation is discussed in detail via the analytic discussion. In order to reduce the complexity of tuning, a new three parts GFHM is proposed. There only are three parameters to be tuned. In the last, the performances between the GFHM-PID controller with some classic fuzzy PID controllers are discussed in detail, the results show the superiority of the GFHM-PID controller.
