A digitally beamformed phased array receiver for tactical bistatic radar

Bistatic radar differs from the more conventional monostatic radar in having the transmitter and receiver sites physically separated. This paper describes a digitally beamformed phased array radar receiver demonstrator designed to be used as part of a short range bistatic radar system. The design is described with particular emphasis on the digital beamformer.<
