Analysis and Measurements of Tapered Microstrip Patch Antennas for Mobile Communication Systems

This paper presents the analysis and measurement of tapered microstrip patch antennas. The study considers several important structural parameters such as patch length, width, position, height, and feeding-point. The properties of a slotted and tapered patch antenna are investigated, as well. The proposed antenna is suitable for applications in mobile communication systems
