Design combline bandpass filter with the stepped impedance resonators

According to the theory of stepped impedance resonators (SIR) and doubly loaded resonator, a combline bandpass cavity filter with /spl lambda//sub g//4 -type SIR is designed for minimum size and wide stopband. Measured results show that machined and tested four-cavity filter satisfies the demanding specification.
