Optical waveguide switch based on microfluidics drived by electrostatic force

We developed an optical waveguide switch based on the movement of liquid droplet drived by electrostatic force, which is suitable for low power consumption. High extinction ratio of 35dB was obtained at the driving voltage of 300V.
