The paper provides a presentation and examination of various direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation methods used in the signal processing of an intelligent antenna array. A comprehensive review on DOA estimation methods, including their performance, sensitivity, and limitations, is done with excellent plots that summarize and compare the performance and sensitivity of the various DOA estimation methods.
