Defect density dependence of thermal conductivity and temperature control of quasi-phase matching devices

The thermal conductivities of LN and LT crystals were measured. They strongly depended on the nonstoichiometric defect density. Near-stoichiometric LT exhibited the largest thermal conductivity, which is promising a great advantage in QPM frequency conversion.
