A classification of failures of the protection

The authors look at the different aspects of the reliability of the electricity supply. To find the relations between reliability, protection and design, they propose a classification of failures of the protection. The proposed classification distinguishes between failure of the concept; failure of the model; failure of the setting; and failure of the device.<
