John N. Entzminger, Jr. is one of the trio receiving the IEEE AESS Pioneer Award for 1998 For pioneering efforts in basic concepts, system designs and technical ideas that led to a major new US military capability; the Joint Surveillance and Target Attack Radar System of Joint STARS. was presented with the 2005 Warren D.
