Multi-channel PMD compensation based on distributed polarization control [fiber optic transmission applications]

We proposed a multi-channel PMD (polarization mode dispersion) compensation technique based on distributed polarization control. The results show that the proposed technique has better performance than the multi-channel PMD compensation technique using a single PMD compensator.
