Synthesis of low temperature sintered ferroelectric-ferromagnetic composite materials

Using analytical grade metal oxides, the ferrite is prepared by ceramic technology. The powders are calcined and then mixed with ferroelectric component and other chemical dopants. The mixtures are pressed into toroids and pellets respectively and then sintered. The sintered ceramic microstructures are investigated by X-ray diffraction with CuK/sub a/ radiation and a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Bulk densities are measured by Archimedes method. In addition, Quality factor, complex permeability and permittivity are measured by an impedance analyzer.
