Magnetic and ordering studies of sputtering nanostructured Fe/sub 50/Ni/sub 50/ films

A nanostructured Fe/sub 50/Ni/sub 50/ alloy is synthesized by DC magnetron sputtering. The magnetic and structural properties and the disorder-order transformation of the film are investigated. It is found that the increase of saturation magnetization, coercivity and the decrease of resistance after 280/spl deg/C/1 week annealing indicate that ordered L1/sub 0/ Fe/sub 50/Ni/sub 50/ alloy had been synthetically produced by obtaining the nanostructure and by thermal annealing.
