Near-optimal H/sub /spl infin// state feedback control of power systems

H/sub /spl infin// state feedback control for power systems is investigated via a new methodology which is different from the existing approach. The attention is focused on the design of the near-optimal H/sub /spl infin// controller. The novel contribution is that the proposed decentralized controllers achieve O(/spl epsi/) approximation of the optimal H/sub /spl infin// performance.
