3D lighten technique used for 40 GHz radio network planning

In the considered fixed radio access (FRA) scenario a number of base stations are deployed to serve local users with a direct radio link with a range of 2 to 5 km, with at least 25 Mbit/s, using the MF/TDMA method. A user might access two or more base stations and select the one, which provided optimum signal. Development of planning tools, which combine both 3D building and terrain databases together with demographic information as well, is needed. Vegetation (particularly trees and motion of leaves in the path) is one of major problems encountered on FRA systems.
