Application of atomic functions to numerical simulation in electromagnetic theory

Some problems of electromagnetic theory, in particular, where it's necessary to obtain the approximate solution of boundary value problems for the Helmholtz equation, can be reduced to the integral equations of the second kind. The integral equation method for the external problems has preference because help to reduce the problems in an unlimited trivariate domain to the two-dimensional surface can automatically satisfy to the radiation conditions on infinite. At this point the interest increases to the numerical methods using the integral equations. One of the basic problems for the numerical investigation of boundary value problem consists in the basis functions systems selection that affects essentially the convergence and stability of approximate solution. The approximate solution will be obtained in the form of the linear combination of nonstationary nonorthogonal wavelets built with the help of atomic functions.
