Actuation of mechanical movement of a macroscopic crystal by low power CW laser

We have observed periodical movement of the crystal LiNbO/sub 3/:Fe (mass is 0.47 g) actuated by solid state CW laser. Oscillations with angular amplitude up to 0.6/spl deg/ were detected using capacitor type arrangement.
