Polarimetric remote sensing of aerosols

In this paper we summarize the capabilities of multi-angle, multi-spectral polarimetric remote sensing using passive solar reflectance measurements. The approaches required to retrieve aerosol properties over ocean and land are described together with the types of cloud property retrieval that are possible.
