Bondable magnet wire - cost justification

Bondable magnet wires have been used for years in certain specialized applications such as television deflection yoke coils and bobbinless coils for solenoids and inductors. With the development of bondable magnet wire that retains bond strength at temperatures exceeding 155/spl deg/C. It is now possible to use the physical and electrical properties of a bonded wire system to replace conventional varnish systems in some motor applications.
