Analysis and design of reflector and horn antennas using multilevel fast multipole algorithms (MLFMA)

The Multilevel Fast Multipole Algorithm (MLFMA) has been well developed for EM scattering problems to speed up the matrix-vector multiplication of iterative solver in Method of Moments. The MLFMA is implemented based on MoM code for arbitrarily shaped metal surfaces discretised in Rao, Wilton and Glisson (RWG) basis functions. The algorithm is verified by comparing the results with the exact analytical solutions for a perfectly conducting sphere. Subsequently it has been applied to a conical horn and parabolic reflector with different type of feeding providing with results with measurements.
