FIR digital filter design with Parzen and Cos/sup 6/ (/spl pi/ t) combinational window family

Design of FIR filters using Parzen-Cos/sup 6/(/spl pi/t) combinational window family is proposed. Design relationships have been established. The performance of this family is compared with the modified zeroth-order Bessel (I/sub o/-sinh) family. It is observed that the performance of combinational window filter is far superior to its Kaiser window counterpart in the stopband region.
