Problems in telecommunication development and application of modern information technology in the USSR

Summary form only given. The problems of creating new means of telecommunication and the application of modern information technology in the USSR are addressed. Some specific features of communications technology development in the USSR are outlined. It is concluded that the process of integrating communication equipment and computers should lead to the creation of an entire digital switching and communication technology.<
