Appointment [to US National Academy of Engineering]

W.W. Lang recently was elected to the National Academy of Engineering. A past president of ASSPS, Bill was a founder of the Institute for Noise Control Engineering (INCE). He has also been active in the Acoustical Society, ANSI, and international standards committees. He is employed by IBM in Poughkeepsie, New York, USA.
