A high-speed NMOS/CMOS single-chip 16-bit microprocessor

A single-chip 16-bit microprocessor, fabricated with advanced NMOS technology with partial N-well CMOS structure to achieve 0.6μs instruction execution time and low power, will be described. Chip contains 15,000 transistors in a 33mm²area.
