Field singularities at the tip of a dielectric cone

Data are given on the nature of the singularities near the tip of a dielectric cone of circular cross section. For a "sharp" cone the singularity is associated with a
\varphi
-independent potential; for a "reentrant" cone with a "
cos \varphi
" type of potential.
