On the calculation of the directivity of planar array feeds for satellite reflector applications

A calculation of the directivity of a planar array involves a coefficient

which is given in an integral form in the literature. A series representation for

is derived here, which allows efficient numerical evaluation. Numerical results and comments on the behavior of
C_{mn}
are discussed.
