Some factors which affect the traffic capacity of a small telepoint network

A computer model is used to study the affect of several interference related factors, on the traffic capacity of a small telepoint network based on UK CT2. For small service areas, it is found that the traffic capacity may be limited by receiver intermodulation performance. Handset power control can be beneficial in such cases. Dual antenna diversity was found to give an increased capacity for all sizes of service area.<
