External interaction of the nuclear EMP with aircraft and missiles

The general problem of external coupling of the nuclear EMP to metal structures is discussed with attention directed toward aircraft and missiles. Theoretical and experimental data are presented for the skin current and charge densities induced on aircraft. Recommendations for future studies are also given.
