Comparison of Romberg and Gauss methods for numerical evaluation of two-dimensional phase integrals

The relative performance, considering both accuracy and time, of the Romberg and the Gauss-Legendre methods as applied to numerical evaluation of two-dimensional phase integrals is presented.
