Calculation of the Interaction Between the Fringing Capacitance of Symmetrical Stripline Using the Finite Element Method (Short Paper)

This paper calculates the interaction between the fringing capacitance of symmetrical stripline using the finite-element method. The fringing capacitance interaction is presented as a function of T/B and W/B. This enables the characteristic impedance of narrow, high-impedance lines to be accurately and simply calculated.
