A simple design IoT-enabled wearable heart Rate Monitoring with GPS Assistance

This paper proposes an innovative and simple framework of health monitoring solution: an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled wearable heart rate monitoring system with integrated Global Positioning System (GPS) functionality that is intended to help individuals with cardiovascular conditions, athletes, and recreational users engage in high-intensity activities such as running, cycling, and hiking. The proposed system uses affordable and non-invasive sensor to continuously monitor heart rate and send out real-time notifications when abnormal cardiac activity is detected. In emergencies, it automatically notifies designated carers or family members by broadcasting the user’s specific GPS location, allowing immediate medical aid. By integrating wireless health monitoring (via Wi-Fi) with GPS-based position tracking, the system allows remote data visualization via a PC or smartphone application, simplifying telemedicine, basic clinical assessment and emergency aided.
