Modelling Multi-Pollution Impact on Climate Change using Newton’s Interpolation and ML Techniques

Vehicle pollution has emerged as a significant environmental concern, leading to air pollution, climate change, and public health issues. Targeting Visakhapatnam, a coastal city undergoing rapid industrialisation and traffic congestion, this study seeks to assess the impact of car emissions there. Main objectives to assess their impact on the environment include quantifying CO2 emissions and other contaminants. Using real-time vehicle data, our mathematical model predicts daily emissions considering the kind of vehicle, the quantity of automobiles, and emission factors. Vehicles in Visakhapatnam emit approximately $7,225.5$ metric tonnes of CO per day, releasing significant amounts of NO, PM, CO, and SO. Vehicles also provide more negative climatic effects like water pollution, more fire risk, noise pollution, urban heat islands, and less view of the sky. As the comparative research shows, air pollution-more especially, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides-is a major driver of climate change, which warms the planet and increases the likelihood of more violent storms. This study provides a complete approach for assessing vehicle emissions and emphasises the importance of using sustainable transport policies to reduce environmental threats.
