Design and Simulation of Efficient mmWave Antennas for 5G Systems using HFSS Tool

This study presents the design, simulation and performance evaluation of a broadband millimeter-wave (mmWave) antenna optimized for 5 G communication systems. With the growing demand for high-speed data transmission and expanded bandwidth, this study explores mmWave frequencies from 26 GHz to 300 GHz to enhance network efficiency and reliability. Using advanced simulation tools such as HFSS, the research evaluates the antenna’s performance in terms of bandwidth, radiation efficiency, gain, and impedance matching. The findings demonstrate significant improvements in signal propagation and beamforming capabilities, making the proposed antenna suitable for diverse applications including urban communication, vehicular networks, and IoT deployments. This study contributes to the advancement of next-generation wireless networks by addressing key design challenges and proposing optimized antenna architectures that support scalable 5 G connectivity. The detailed analysis and validation of the proposed model provide a foundation for future innovations in mmWave antenna technology, ensuring enhanced spectral utilization and communication performance.
