Generating Electrical Power Through EV Wheels and Solar Energy with Smart Lighting System

This paper focuses on energy generation and smart control systems for electric vehicle applications. This design presents a model that generates electrical power through the rotation of vehicle wheels and solar energy. The DC motors are connected to the wheels; they act as generators to generate electrical power during vehicle movement and solar panel generates electrical energy in the daytime. The electrical energy generated is stored in two 12 V batteries for motor operation and the smart lighting system. Voltage regulation is handled by 7805 and 7815 ICs, supplying stable voltages to vehicle subsystems. Vehicle motion is managed through an L239D IC, controlled via a Bluetooth module connected to a smartphone. Smart lighting system operates various sensors like inferred (IR) sensors to detect the proximity of nearby vehicles and light-dependent resistors (LDRs) to monitor ambient light levels, automatically adjusting the lighting and alarm systems.
