A Flexible All-Textile Dual-Band Patch Antenna for Next-Generation Wearables

This paper presents a fully textile-based flexible dual-band patch antenna to meet the emerging demands of wearable devices. The proposed antenna employs conductive fabric as the radiating element and canvas as the substrate, fabricated using laser-cutting technology to ensure high precision. Through optimized dimensional design, the antenna achieves dual-band operation at 3.5 GHz and 5 GHz, making it suitable for modern flexible wireless communication systems. Both simulations and measurements demonstrate excellent impedance matching and stable radiation patterns at the target frequencies. The all-textile structure ensures superior breathability, wearer comfort, and mechanical robustness, highlighting its practicality for wearable applications.
