Design and Application of On-Site Standardized Maintenance Management System for Pumped Storage Power Station

As a core facility for peak shaving in the power grid, pumped storage power stations face challenges in on-site maintenance and management, such as non standardized processes, low data utilization, and lagging safety control. The current management model relies on manual experience, with a high proportion of paper records, insufficient efficiency in cross departmental collaboration, and a lack of real-time perception and risk warning capabilities for equipment status, making it difficult to meet the reliability and economic requirements of the new power system. In response to the above issues, this study proposes a standardized on-site maintenance management system architecture based on the Internet of Things (IoT), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and workflow engine. By constructing a closed-loop system of “data collection process automation risk warning decision optimization”, digital control of the entire lifecycle of maintenance processes can be achieved. The system adopts microservice architecture and Java EE technology stack, realizes accurate mapping of equipment space information and maintenance process through BIM lightweight modeling, and uses edge computing nodes to conduct real-time pre-processing of vibration, temperature and other multi-source sensor data. The workflow engine module has built-in standardized maintenance process rules, supporting the full process automation verification from task dispatch, on-site execution to acceptance and archiving, and integrating AR visualization tools to achieve on-site operation guidance. The research results indicate that the system effectively improves the standardization and intelligence level of maintenance and management of pumped storage power stations, providing a technical paradigm for the energy industry to build a new operation and maintenance model that is traceable, controllable, and optimizable. In the future, digital twin and augmented reality technologies can be further integrated to deepen the simulation analysis and remote collaboration capabilities of complex working conditions, and promote the evolution of pumped storage power stations towards autonomous maintenance.
