Cyber-Physical Systems and Real-Time Computing

This study examines the modeling of cyber-physical systems, which are complex structures made up of interrelated subsystems intended to operate seamlessly together. Due to their complexity, the creation and evaluation of these systems present considerable difficulties. For this case study, a pacemaker an electronic device inserted to control irregular heart rhythms like bradycardia and tachycardia was chosen. The research explores the design, lifespan, and behavior characteristics of the pacemaker. The Architecture Analysis and Design Language (AADL) served for system description, while tools such as Dia and Atom3 were utilized for implementation. The goal of the work is to create a foundation for converting the model into formal representations to aid in constraint analysis and system testing. Recognizing the possibility for enhancement, this study encourages input and recommendations to improve the model’s accuracy and dependability. The research emphasizes the cooperative aspect of creating cyber-physical systems and stresses the significance of structured methods for handling their complexity.
