Securing the Resource Preemption for ISAC Systems via Structured Residue Verification

Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems face significant security challenges from the preemptionsensing cross-spoofing (PSCS) attack, which targets resource preemption and simultaneously compromises both control signaling and bistatic sensing functions. To address the threat of PSCS, we design a structured residue verification (SRV) method that fundamentally transforms legitimate signal structures into defensive assets. Our SRV method bridges security domains by jointly analyzing time-frequency phase gradients and magnitude deviations, replaces statistical detection with rigorous geometric constraint validation, and resolves protocol inconsistencies through comprehensive resource grid tensor completion. Experimental validation confirms that the proposed SRV effectively identifies PSCS manipulations, establishing a new paradigm for resource preemption protection in ISAC systems.
